We are pleased to announce an open vacancy for a Project Manager position for Rig Harima “Italy”.
This role is crucial for overseeing and driving the successful delivery of our upcoming projects.
We are currently looking for a Project Manager with experience in building or reactivating HH-102 Rig type to support the Harima team in this last step of rig construction, with a brunch of topics related to various equipement commissioning, interface with the tender boat *******projects for operationality, and various other interface in the way going to operation, that he has to manager in tandem with the appointed Rig Manager.
Here below, some key Responsibilities for this position:
*Project Planning & Execution:
Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation. Coordinate with ****** teams, contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on project objectives. Monitor progress and adjust project plans as necessary to stay on schedule.
- Budget Management: Manage the project budget, including cost estimation, allocation, and tracking. Identify cost-saving opportunities and manage risks to avoid budget overruns.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure that all project activities comply with international and local safety regulations and standards. Conduct regular safety audits and inspections, addressing any non-compliance issues promptly.
- Quality Assurance: Implement quality control processes to ensure that all refurbishment and commissioning work meets the required standards. Coordinate with QA/QC teams to address any defects or issues during the project.
- Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact between the shipyard, contractors, classification society and other stakeholders. Provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders on project status, risks, and opportunities. Facilitate communication and resolve conflicts among project stakeholders.
- Resource Management: Oversee the selection and management of contractors, suppliers, and vendors. Ensure that all resources, including materials and personnel, are available and utilized efficiently.
- Commissioning: Lead the commissioning phase, ensuring that all systems and equipment are tested and verified according to specifications. Follow commissioning procedures, and manage any issues that arise during this phase.
- Reporting & Documentation: Prepare detailed weekly project reports, including progress, financial status, safety, and quality performance. Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including contracts, permits, and technical specifications.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on the project. Conduct regular risk assessments and update risk management plans as needed.
- Contractual details: Project location: Milan for various interface management, preparation and conduct of rig up for FAT in tender mode, equipment commissioning, rig down phases; and PNR-CONGO for R/U & integration. Potential to Paris and NL office as required for meeting with management or others.
- Estimated planned project duration approx.: +/- 9 months mission.
- Rotation or based: Based mission, as described in #1 above.
