Tchendo II is the most complex project performed in Dixstone Shipyard Holland near Vlissing in The Netherlands. This second hand rig, installed in 90 meters water depth, has been converted to a MOPoDU, Mobile Offshore Power and Drilling Unit for a development project in Congo Brazzaville.

The unit that has just been commissioned is hosting 3 Caterpillar Mars Turbine for a total of 27MW and all its utilities (gas treatment, main switchboard interconnected to the Perenco grid) and drilling capabilities with 9 wells slot already prepared and ready for drilling.

Dixstone intends to use its latest generation ultra compact rig HARIMA to perform these drilling.

On the picture we can see the Dixstone pipe laying barge SULEVIA initiating the gas pipe laying. The pipe laying is also supported by the DSV BRAN 3 owned and operated by Dixstone. Another example of the versality and capacity of Dixstone to deliver state of the art EPC project from drilling to decommissioning including logging, cementing, shipping, diving, pipe & cable laying, platform design & installation.
