About the Role

As an SCM Data & Reporting Analyst, the candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining Supply Chain dashboards, reports, and KPI monitoring tools using Power BI. The role will support data-driven decision-making by transforming operational, procurement, logistics, and inventory data into actionable insights.

 

Responsibilities

 

1: Power BI Dashboards & Reporting

  • Develop, maintain, and continuously improve SCM dashboards and reports in Power BI.
  • Create automated KPI dashboards for procurement, logistics, inventory, warehousing, and supplier performance monitoring.
  • Ensure dashboards are user-friendly, visually clear, and aligned with SCM business needs.
  • Design standardised reporting templates for monthly, quarterly, and yearly SCM reporting.

2: Data Collection & Business Requirements

  • Gather reporting requirements from SCM stakeholders (Procurement, Logistics, Inventory, Finance, Operations, HSE).
  • Translate business needs into technical reporting solutions and dashboards.
  • Support the definition of SCM KPI structure and reporting methodology.

3: Cloud Data Integration & Coordination with Systems Team

  • Work closely with Systems/IT teams to request, define, and align data availability in the cloud (SharePoint / Snowflake / other platforms).
  • Ensure proper data structure, refresh frequency, governance rules, and access rights for reporting purposes.
  • Support connectivity setup between Power BI and cloud-based datasets.

4: Data Quality & Governance

  • Monitor and validate data accuracy, consistency, and completeness across different SCM data sources.
  • Support data cleansing activities and identify root causes of inconsistencies.
  • Ensure data governance principles are respected, including traceability and documentation.

5: SCM KPI Management

  • Develop and maintain SCM KPI dashboards: monthly, quarterly, and yearly KPIs.
  • Track SCM performance indicators such as:
  • Procurement cycle time
  • Supplier performance
  • Purchase order compliance
  • Inventory turnover
  • Stock accuracy
  • Logistics lead time
  • Cost savings tracking
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on KPI trends.

6: Reporting Automation & Continuous Improvement

  • Automate recurring reports and optimise dashboard performance.
  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes and reduce manual work.
  • Support SCM process improvement projects by providing data analysis and performance reporting.

7: Documentation & Training

  • Develop supporting documentation (tutorials, user guides) for dashboards and reporting tools.
  • Train SCM users on how to interpret KPIs and properly use dashboards.
  • Provide support to internal users for reporting-related issues.

8: Other Related Activities

  • Support audits and internal controls by providing evidence and reporting extracts when required.
  • Support reporting requests from management and subsidiaries.
  • Other related activities as required by SCM management.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Business Analytics, Supply Chain, Information Technology, Finance, or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in reporting, data analysis, business intelligence, or similar function.

Required Skills

  • Knowledge in SCM Systems and Processes.
  • Strong knowledge of reporting tools and dashboard development (Power BI).
  • Knowledge of data modelling and KPI definition.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP and/or IFS) will be a plus.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms and data storage (SharePoint / Snowflake) is a plus.
  • Experience with automation tools and data transformation (Power Query, DAX).
  • Strong critical thinking and ability to work independently.
  • Ability to analyse supplier documentation, financial information, and compliance risks.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to prepare and analyse KPI reports and dashboards.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working with Supply Chain KPIs is a strong advantage.
  • Experience in the oil & gas sector is a plus.
  • Good handling of MS Office Tools (Excel, PowerPoint) and Power BI.
  • Fluent in English at a professional and high technical level. French and/or Dutch would be a plus.
